Original drawings hand painted with ink, brush and marker, varying sizes. This was an exploration of getting the internal out, and beyond myself.
I had originally painted a large batch of signs and stapled them to telephone poles in SE Portland over a number of weeks. This was an exercise in letting out feelings and thoughts, engaging the minds of passers by, and letting go of the work itself. Sometimes it’s nice to create quantity and see where the quality arises. These signs are some that survived, so far.
They can’t all be great.
