The Air Force 1 LX sequin series was another great example of print and pattern design working closely together with materials design. Right away we knew this could be a special series. We wanted it to be playful and sophisticated at the same time while elevating the legendary AF1 even higher.
The mid version seen here used a print under layer with a sequin over layer. The Hi version was a sequin interpretation of the print seen here. I love to take one idea or concept and express it in a number of different ways. This was a true success in collaboration, concept and final outcome.
